Ahhh, the Pacific Crest Trail, 2,650 miles of wilderness, streching from Canada to Mexico. It is one of our all time favorite hiking trails and we were inspired by the rugged section in Washington state. A mountain lake filled region with high passes and dramatic ridgelines. You almost expect a bear to go paddling by on one of the lakes. The scent is airy, mysterious with a sweet undercurrent of vanilla and huckleberry.
